About Dr. Neuenfeldt Dr. Luke Neuenfeldt graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Biological Sciences and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed additional clinical training at Kresge Eye Institute of Detroit, OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, and the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Hospital before settling into private practice in the Chicago suburbs. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at the Chicago College of Optometry at Midwestern University, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. As a second-generation optometrist, he grew up working alongside his father at Neuenfeldt Family Eyecare. At a young age, he developed a passion for optometry and was eager to follow in his father’s footsteps. Exceptional patient care has always been his highest priority. He is grateful and honored to serve the community that he grew up with. Dr. Neuenfeldt enjoys spending his free time with his wife, and fellow optometrist, Gabriela. Together, they enjoy exercising, cooking, and traveling.
