About Dr. Neuenfeldt
Dr. Luke Neuenfeldt graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Biological Sciences and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed additional clinical training at Kresge Eye Institute of Detroit, OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, and the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Hospital before settling into private practice in the Chicago suburbs. In November of 2021, he earned the prestigious distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He also serves as a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at the Chicago College of Optometry at Midwestern University.
As a second-generation optometrist, he grew up working alongside his father at Neuenfeldt Family Eyecare. He developed at a young age a passion for optometry and was eager to follow in his father’s footsteps. Excellent patient care has always been critical to him. He is grateful and honored to serve the community that he grew up with.
Dr. Neuenfeldt spends most of his free time with his wife, Dr. Gabriela, who also practices optometry. Together, they enjoy exercising, cooking, and traveling.
